Students are responsible for completing their homework by the due date. Information about due dates and assignments will always be given in class, and written on the board.
Students are responsible for writing down assignments in their homework planners. These will be routinely checked by teachers.
Homework can also be located on the Leopard Team Home Page (This site is updated daily, however, the planner is the best place to find information regarding assignments.)
If there are any issues completing assignments, please contact me via email as soon as possible.
Students who do not complete their assignments by the due date will stay in for recess or stay after school. Parents will be notified either via letter, email, or phone of repeat offenses. Expectations

Students who do not follow the criteria will be subject to the 3 strike rule. After 3 strikes, students will stay in for either recess or after-school at the teacher's discretion to develop a plan for improvement. Additional strikes will result in parent contact.
Assessment Policy
Students will be routinely assessed via quizzes, projects, writing assignments, and tests. Assessments can be redone in an effort to improve a grade at any time.
All assessments will be returned in a timely manner to help assist students identify areas which need additional attention.
Relearning and Reteaching Policy ~ The student and teacher will work TOGETHER in the process of meeting standards. ~ It is the STUDENT'S responsibility to follow up with the teacher if they have not yet met an assessment for a standard. ~ Student and teacher will meet to discuss reasons for not yet having met the assessment ~ Student and teacher will come up with a plan to relearn the material if necessary. ~ Student will revise and/or add to an assignment or retake a new assessment. ~ Times for relearning and reassessing will happen during class, TLT, and/or after school.
48 & 2 PROTOCOL: ~ Students have 48 hours to connect with their teacher after receiving their score and then need to be reassessed within the next two weeks.
